When You Realized... You Became the Adult

TL;DR

Trends: Text hook "When you realized..." reframe modern experiences as the next generation's "back in my day" stories.
Views: 53.8M views in 5 days.
Format: "When you realized..." hook → modern-day experience → older generation equivalent → realization joke.
Example: When I realize "I used to brainstorm hooks without ChatGPT" is the new "I used to look everything up in the public library."
Why It Works: The format creates a realization joke by making viewers recognize they've unknowingly become the adults they used to laugh at.
Use It When: You want to turn everyday observations into relatable, shareable humor.

What is this trend about

This creator takes an everyday experience that feels completely normal today and compares it to something older generations always used to say. Somehow, our parents really love to emphasize that *“I used to suffer”.*
