TL;DR
- Trends
- Creators repeat an action as an ongoing series, changing one part each episode.
- Views
- Up to 1.7M+ views across the examples.
- Format
- Repeatable action + Fixed format
- Why It Works
- Viewers recognize the format immediately while the changing part gives each ep something new to watch.
- Use It When
- You have a simple action that can be repeated with different inputs, subjects, or outcomes.
What is this trend
There are two creators that we found had a similar format for creating their content despite being in completely different sports.
David Fitt turns juggling challenges into a series with his “n/365 dominadas” videos. On each day, he does the challenge based on the day number, so Day-23 means 23 repetitions, Day-100 means 100, and so on all the way to Day 365.

Also, Jake Oliger does something similar with his “5 bats vs …” series. The batting-cage setup is staying the same, but the opposing pitcher changes. His Babe Ruth episode reached 1.7M+ views, while the Jacob Misiorowski version reached 469.4K+ views.

How do you get babe Ruth to keep agreeing to these videos?

They did different sports challenges, but used a similar format with a counting/numbering part as a hook.
Why it works
The format gives the viewer something familiar to come back to without making every episode feel identical. And somehow the format becomes the creator’s something to be associated with.
