What is this trend about
Man, life is getting stressful; we had to LEGO..
Master Builder Alec, a LEGOLAND Discovery Center model builder, created a series about replacing his coworker Jerry's desk with tiny LEGO versions of Jerry. Each video begins with the same introduction:
"This is day N of replacing my coworker Jerry's desk with tiny LEGO versions of himself."
From there, Alec adds new mini Jerrys based on viewer suggestions. One of the most popular examples turned Jerry into a tiny ballet troupe typing on his keyboard.
The series eventually ended on day 10 with Jerry seeing the completed prank for himself. The prank wrapped on 01/10, with later posts already moving on to new content formats.

The formula
The day count gives people a reason to come back and see what gets added next. At the same time, Alec delivers every update like a workplace report, even as Jerry's desk fills up with tiny LEGO versions of himself.
